Neuma Church has a rich heritage as the first pentecostal church in Australia since 1925. Over the past century Neuma Church has been known as a place where the Spirit of God has moved in signs & wonders, where the Word of God has been studied and preached with boldness and where God’s declaration that He would build His Church has been evident.

Throughout the years, Neuma Church has been synonymous with raising and releasing leaders into their callings, giving and going into the mission field and discipling individuals in their faith, as well as the gifts of the Spirit.

Today Neuma Church is a global multi-site church that seeks to advance God’s Kingdom across the earth.

The Opportunity

As a new season emerges for Neuma Church, a Senior Pastor who resonates and feels called to continue the work that God has started is being sought. This candidate will demonstrate a life of faith, a ministry that evidences the work of the Spirit and proven experience in leading within a multi-site church structure.

It should be noted that there is no appetite for this historic church to become part of another multi-site church or network.

This role carries both spiritual and strategic responsibility, shaping culture, empowering leaders, and guiding Neuma into its next season of growth, maturity, and global impact.

The Senior Pastor leads with humility, courage, and love, modelling a life wholly devoted to God and sacrificial service to people.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Vision & Teaching: Communicating a clear, exciting vision for our church and delivering sermons that make Scripture feel real, accessible, and life changing.
  • Leading & Coaching: Building up our team, mentoring emerging leaders, and overseeing the health of our multi-site locations.
  • Pastoral Care: Being a visible, approachable person in the life of our congregation—someone who truly loves people and isn’t afraid to walk alongside them through life’s ups and downs.
  • Good Stewardship: Ensuring the church is run with integrity, focusing on transparency, healthy governance, and sound financial management.

An Ideal Candidate:

  • A Devoted Follower: You have a deep, personal relationship with Jesus that shows up in your humility, prayer life, and character.
  • An Experienced Leader: You likely have experience in senior leadership within a multi-site and/or missional church environment.
  • A Seasoned Visionary: You have an ability to develop and articulate a compelling vision, aligned with biblical principles and are an experienced communicator.
  • ACC Aligned: You’ve been credentialed (OMC) with the Australian Christian Churches for at least 5 years and are fully aligned to its doctrine and committed to the Great Commission.
  • Emotionally Intelligent: You’re self-aware, great at engaging with people, and know how to build a healthy, collaborative team culture.
  • In a Season of Impact: This role is best suited to a candidate with a long-term vision and a willingness to commit to sustained service over time.
