Over January, we will be gathering every Sunday 9AM with Neuma Kids running each week.
Our regular 9AM and 11AM services will resume on Sunday 1st February.
Who We Are
Established in 1925, Neuma Church has a heritage of planting churches, saving souls, engaging in global mission, equipping believers for ministry and moving in the power of the Holy Spirit.
Neuma Church Melbourne East was planted in 2014 with a heart to love people and host God’s Presence. We are family – a multigenerational, culturally diverse community pursuing Jesus together, passionate about His Kingdom, going after miracles, growing in discipleship, and creating space for genuine encounters that transforms lives and impacts our city.
Ps Jay Jay & Paulina Meyer
Meet Our Pastors
Jay Jay and Paulina are the Neuma Melbourne East Location Pastors. They were commissioned in August of 2023, after fulfilling many years of ministry throughout Australia.
They are proud parents of three beautiful children Jay, Edward and Elizabeth. Jay Jay and Paulina love people well and are very passionate to see people find and walk in their true God-given identity, hosting God’s presence daily, whilst bringing heaven to earth.

What Can I Expect on a Sunday?
Our services run about 90 minutes and include worship, an encouraging message, and space for prayer and ministry.
Is there a Kids church?
We love families and have a very strong kids church during both services!
Our Kids team runs fun, faith-filled programs for children (ages ). All our team members are trained and hold current Working With Children Checks.
Your kids will love their time with us!
How should I dress?
Come as you are – there’s no dress code, and everyone is welcome.
Where can I park nearby?
If you’re a first-time visitor, we have some reserved parking for you at Pin 5, below.
To keep parking simple, please follow the nubered pins on the map below. Our parking wardens will guide you as you arrive, starting from Pin 1 – once it is full, moving to Pin 2 and so on.
Please refrain from parking on curbs or in front of our neighbours driveways – love your neighbour!

Is Public Transport Nearby?
Yes! Bus 270 to Bus Stop ID#2693 Middleborough Rd/Katrina Street is an easy 8 min walk to the Church.
Alternatively you could get Bus 279 or 303 to Bus Stop ID#4283 Chapman St/Middleborough Rd which is a 7 minute walk to the Church.

Generations at Neuma
Neuma Kids is the children’s ministry of Neuma Church – Melbourne East, where Jesus is a the centre of everything we do.
Our passion is to see children deeply rooted in biblical truth, encounter the Holy Spirit, and confidently walk in their identity in Christ.
We believe kids are not just the future of the Church – they are a powerful part of it right now! Kids Church gather every Sunday at each service.
A parents room is also available for nursing infants.
Neuma Youth is a vibrant community of young people who gather every Friday night during the school term from 6:30pm – 9:00pm (term time) to encounter God, grow in faith, and discover their true identity as sons and daughters of the King.
Each night begins with fun and connection, flows into powerful worship, and finishes with practical equipping for real-life discipleship.
Every young person is part of a Life Group where they are known, nurtured, and empowered to walk boldly in their God-given purpose.
Neuma Young Adults is a thriving community of passionate believers who are pursuing Jesus and purpose together — not just on Sundays, but throughout the week.
Life Groups
Our YA’s gather fortnightly on Wednesdays (7:00–9:00pm) in Life Groups where authentic relationships are built, faith is strengthened, and purpose is refined. We believe every young adult carries unique gifts, and we encourage them to serve and lead within the life of the church.
Internship

Life Groups
Life Groups are where faith becomes family. Like the believers in Acts 2:42–47, we gather to open God’s Word, share meals, pray together, and care for one another. In these Christ-centered communities, lives are transformed, hearts are united, and joy overflows as we grow together in purpose, generosity, and love.
