Location: Neuma Church – Melbourne East
Position: Full-time (5 days per week, including Sundays)

About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised, proactive and spiritually grounded Services & Events Ministry Coordinator to join the team at Neuma Church – Melbourne East. This is a key role that ensures the seamless execution of our Sunday services and mid-week events by coordinating logistics, resourcing volunteer teams, and supporting the Location Pastors administratively.
You will play a vital part in hosting God’s presence, cultivating an atmosphere of joy and Kingdom purposes – helping create spaces where people can encounter God weekly.
Key Responsibilities
Service & Event Coordination
- Oversee logistics for all Sunday services and location events (e.g., planning, resourcing, run sheets, venue setup).
- Collaborate with all teams – i.e. worship, production, kids, and welcome teams to ensure services flow smoothly.
- Manage communication and coordination across departments leading into weekly services and major events.
Volunteer Engagement
- Assist in building teams and support the rostering and scheduling for service and events.
- Assist with volunteer onboarding and coordination in partnership with team leaders.
Administrative Support
- Provide day-to-day admin support to the Location Pastors (e.g. calendar management, meeting coordination, ministry communication etc).
- Maintain event registrations, databases, and planning documents.
Team Culture & Leadership
- Model and uphold Neuma’s Kingdom culture core values across all areas of service.
- Serve as a reliable point of contact and spiritual encouragement to team members and volunteers.

Requirements
- Previous experience in church services, event coordination or administrative support (highly desirable).
- Familiarity with tools like Planning Center or similar platforms (a plus – training provided).
- Commitment to safe church practices and a willingness to comply with Neuma’s Safer Churches Policy.
- Current Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
