Established in 1925, Neuma Church has a heritage of planting churches, saving souls, engaging in global mission, equipping believers for ministry and moving in the power of the Holy Spirit.

Meet Our Pastors
Jay Jay and Paulina are the Neuma Melbourne East Location Pastors. They were commissioned in August of 2023, after fulfilling many years of ministry throughout Australia.
They are proud parents of three beautiful children Jay, Edward and Elizabeth. Jay Jay and Paulina love people well and are very passionate to see people find and walk in their true God-given identity, hosting God’s presence daily, whilst bringing heaven to earth.

What happens at a church service?
A typical gathering includes:
- Prayer (we love to pray!)
- Contemporary worship music with words on the screen
- Practical Bible based teaching
- Connecting with others
After the service, we would love to host you over a tea or coffee as a relaxed way to meet with others.
If you’re visiting for the first time, please let one of our team know as they’d love to serve you and introduce you to our church.
Will I be pressured to do anything?
You will never be asked to stand out in any way. We want to do everything possible to make your visit for the first time as comfortable as possible.
We do provide an opportunity for our regular church members to give, however there’s no obligation.
Most people dress in either casual clothing or smart casual. Please feel free to wear what is comfortable for you.
Where can I park nearby?
If you’re a first-time visitor, we have some reserved parking for you at Pin 5, below.
To keep parking simple, please follow the nubered pins on the map below. Our parking wardens will guide you as you arrive, starting from Pin 1 – once it is full, moving to Pin 2 and so on.
Please refrain from parking on curbs or in front of our neighbours driveways – love your neighbour!

Generations at Neuma
Neuma Kids is the children’s ministry of Neuma Church – Melbourne East, where Jesus is a the centre of everything we do.
Our passion is to see children deeply rooted in biblical truth, encounter the Holy Spirit, and confidently walk in their identity in Christ.
We believe kids are not just the future of the Church – they are a powerful part of it right now! Kids Church gather every Sunday at each service.
Age Groups:
Creche: Crawling – 2yo
Pre-school: 2 – 5yo
Primary: Prep – Grade 6
A parents room is also available for nursing infants.

Neuma Youth is a vibrant community of young people who gather every Friday night during the school term from 6:30pm – 9:00pm (term time) to encounter God, grow in faith, and discover their true identity as sons and daughters of the King.
Each night begins with fun and connection, flows into powerful worship, and finishes with practical equipping for real-life discipleship.
Every young person is part of a Life Group where they are known, nurtured, and empowered to walk boldly in their God-given purpose.

Neuma Young Adults is a thriving community of passionate believers who are pursuing Jesus and purpose together — not just on Sundays, but throughout the week.
Life Groups
Our YA’s gather fortnightly on Wednesdays (7:00–9:00pm) in Life Groups where authentic relationships are built, faith is strengthened, and purpose is refined. We believe every young adult carries unique gifts, and we encourage them to serve and lead within the life of the church.
Internship

We are truly blessed to have a vibrant community of adults – including a lot of young families – who form the heart of Neuma East. The fruit of this is seen in our strong and growing Kids Church, youth and young adults, reflecting the beautiful balance we have across generations.
Whether through Life Groups, serving opportunities, or special gatherings, our Adult Ministry exists to see every person believe deeply in God’s Word, belong to a loving church family, and become all that God has destined them to be — building together a strong, multi-generational community living out their Kingdom purpose.

Empower Seniors
Empower Seniors is a vibrant community for those aged 50 and over who love God, love people, and love life! We gather regularly to study the Bible, enjoy fellowship, go on outings, and have loads of fun together.
Beyond connection and growth, our seniors have a meaningful place to serve, mentor, and pour love into the wider Neuma Melbourne East family, making a lasting impact across generations.

Life Groups
Life Groups are where faith becomes family. Like the believers in Acts 2:42–47, we gather to open God’s Word, share meals, pray together, and care for one another. In these Christ-centered communities, lives are transformed, hearts are united, and joy overflows as we grow together in purpose, generosity, and love.

Discover life’s biggest questions in a relaxed, open environment. Share a meal, hear inspiring stories, and explore faith through honest conversation. Whether you’re curious, seeking purpose, or wanting community, this is a place to connect, ask freely, and find meaning alongside others on a journey of discovery.
Prayer
Our community gathers weekly to intercede for our church, city, and beyond:
- Weekly Tuesdays, 9–10am
(Hour of Power) - Weekly Sundays, 8am
Prayer Power
- Monthly, 3rd Wednesday, 7–8pm
A powerful night of worship and intercession for all things Neuma, Australia, and the nations.
